Performance

The B200 is equipped with two Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A-42 turboprop engines, and is said to be one of the easiest to maintain in general aviation. This might be why it’s also available on other Beechcraft turboprop models / variants such as the 200 & the C12F.

In a standard configuration, this aircraft can seat up to 7 passengers and 2 crew. It has a maximum cruise speed of Mach 0.46. Its maximum range is approximately 1,700 nautical miles at maximum altitude (35,000 ft) and a max payload of approx 2,170 lbs.

The B200 also has a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 12,500 lbs along with a maximum landing weight of the exact same weight / capacity. Additionally, this aircraft is capable of using short runways with takeoff distance of 2,111 ft (643 m) and landing distance of 2,845 ft (867 m).

Interior

In 1994, the B200 underwent more improvements by introducing a standard 4 blade propeller and a cabin noise reduction system. As a result, the engineers of the aircraft have been able to reduce the cabin noise by a noticeable degree. The cabin interior measures approximately 4’9″ in height, 4’6″ in width and 16’8″ in length. Plus, the baggage capacity, which is located in the aft of the cabin, is approximately 55 ft³.

From 1995 to 2008, Beechcraft has made many improvements to the B200. Some of those improvements, include upgrades to the avionics with the electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) in 1995. Along with the addition of the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite in 2003.
